GRADE 4

Finally, we are in the last term of this year and students have been doing wonderful work in my classroom. In Science, they have been learning about various types of forces and they experimented with balloon rockets to understand the concept of thrust. They also participated in a CFA bus incursion, where they learnt about fire safety and what to do if there is a fire.

In Mathematics, students have been learning about problem solving using four basic operations- addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. They were excited to do a walk through the Book Fair, which has been set up in our school library. They wrote their own wish lists and have started purchasing items of their interests.

They had opportunities to participate in the Interschool Athletics Competition and Sirius College Sports Day, where they showed marvellous enthusiasm in doing different events. I am very proud of their achievements.

Overall, we had a great start to this busy term and we are looking forward to doing much more in the coming weeks.
